Live Your Dream in Fall!

Hi everyone! I am back with another card! This one is for today's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers and for a new color challenge I found called colourQ. Check out colourQ... they have some great color combos!

I am very proud of this card because I used up some prima flowers. HAHA! I have tons of them... not sure why I bought so many... especially because I rarely use them. I used FOUR on this card... yes!

The main image was colored with Stampin' Write markers, then I huffed and stamped. I love using markers for solid images.

Everything else is pretty simple... the really rust flower was actually made by taking a white flower and coloring it with the Really Rust Stampin' Write marker!

Card Details:
Paper:
Kraft (#102125), Brocade Blue (#101166), Bordering Blue (#102630), Very Vanilla (#101650), Kraft Patterns DP (retired), Autumn Vine dp (retired)

Stamps: Live Your Dream (retired)

Ink: none, used Stampin' Write Markers: Really Rust (#100073), More Mustard (#100076), Bordering Blue (#100070), Brocade Blue (#100064)

Accessories: Vintage Brads (#109109), More Mustard 1/4'' Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Kraft Taffeta Ribbon (#109068), Prima Flowers (non-su)

Season's Greetings!

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday and that means there's a new color challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers! Today's colors are: Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla, and Kraft. I love the rustic look of these colors for a holiday card!

I pulled out two of my new sets, Delightful Decorations and Four the Holidays. I love both of these sets! They make a fast and cute holiday card!

The ornament is punched with the new ornament punch and is popped up on dimensionals.

The background paper is the Figgy Pudding collection from Basic Grey. As you have read before, I won a whole pack of this paper last year and I still have TONS of it left! It works out though because I didn't have ANY Bravo Burgundy designer paper!

Paper:

Stamps: Four the Holidays (#116921), Delightful Decorations (#116517)

Window Treat Box!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!! This week went by pretty fast, actually. I didn't get to stamp in the middle of the week because I just had too much going on.

I am getting ready to go out of town for the weekend, so I am at home washing clothes and such. While I was waiting for them to finish, I made this super cute Window Treat Box. The tutorial is on Splitcoast Stampers, you can find it here!

I promise the directions are super easy! I am going to make more of these to give as gifts this holiday season. I filled this one with Hershey Kisses, but I am probably going to fill them with some stuff I bake!

Patterned Pines with a POP!

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday and that means Mercy has a new sketch on her blog and it's the color challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers!

I just got my Patterned Pines hostess set in the mail yesterday! I love this set... it's waaay too cute! You can earn it too by placing an order of $150 before January 4th, 2010! Shop for someone else and get a special treat for yourself! You can place an order by going to my online store! (click on link)

I had the hardest time getting my brads lined up this morning for some reason... I thought they were lined up, then I took the picture and they are obviously not! Oh well!!

The trees are stamped twice, cut out, and popped on dimensionals.

The ribbon and brads are some non-su that I had stashed away! Oh yeah, and I did break my rule and ended up getting some new Christmas paper! I ended up getting Merry Moments... it's classic Red & Green and just too cute to pass up!

Paper:
Very Vanilla (#101650), Chocolate Chip (#102128), Merry Moments dp (#115672)

YIKES! Where's my Mojo??

Hi everyone! Happy Monday... did you have a good weekend? Halloween?

Since I don't have any kids Halloween is not a big event for my husband and I, but this year we went over to one of my studio family's houses. Their oldest son set up a haunted house in their basement and I ended up being a person in that! HAHA! It was really fun to scare people.. everyone seemed to like it!

My card today is for the Mojo Sketch. Unfortunately, I seem to have LOST my mojo! I am not really that pleased with how this turned out, but oh well! The upside is that I used more Little Felt Flurries! I bought these last year from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I never really used them... so my goal has been to use them up on some Christmas cards this year! I think the reason I didn't use them last year was I got them too late into the holiday season and I ran out of time to make cards!

I used the current set, SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP for my main image and the retired set Fancy Flexible Phrases for my sentiment. The paper is non-su by Basic Grey. I won an entire 12x12 pack of it last year in a contest, so I am trying to use it up! I believe the LITTLE FELT FLURRIES are still on the clearance section of my online store for an unbelievable price! I think they would look really cute on packages!

Card Details:
Paper:
Baja Breeze (retired), Chocolate Chip (#102128), Whisper White (#100730), Figgy Pudding DP (non-su)

Ink: Baja Breeze (retired), Riding Hood Red (retired), Chocolate Chip (#100908)

Stamps: Season of Friendship (#111776), Fancy Flexible Phrases (retired)

Accessories: Vintage Brads (#109109), Riding Hood Button (retired), Linen Thread (#104199), Small Oval Punch (#107304), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430), Adhesive Rhinestones (non-su), Little Felt Flurries (#113697)

I hope you have a great Monday!!!
